How it works

Houses cost $50. Taking over costs double what the owner paid. Outbid? 100% back.

One pawn, one queue

Everyone shares a single pawn. Join the queue, and when it is your turn you get 7 seconds to roll. The pawn moves from wherever the last player left it. Where it lands, you have 10 seconds to act. Then the next player rolls. You can rejoin the queue as often as you like.

Buying a lot

  • Every level costs $50. Levels 1 to 4 are houses; level 5 is a hotel.
  • On an empty lot you can buy 1 to 5 levels in one go. A hotel from empty is $250.
  • Owners can add levels any time until they reach a hotel.
  • Bigger stacks mean bigger billboards on the board.

Taking over

  • Land on someone else's lot and you can take the whole stack for double what they paid in total.
  • The previous owner gets 100% of their money back, straight away.
  • You can add levels in the same checkout, up to a hotel.

Rent is attention

Land on a lot you don't own and you see the owner's billboard full-screen. That is the rent. "Rent is due" squares show the most expensive billboard on the board.

Timeout

Land on Busted and you spend 3 minutes in Timeout. You cannot join the queue until it ends. A Hall pass card keeps you free the next time.

Cards

Hustle and Fortune squares draw a card automatically. Some move the shared pawn; some are perks from sponsors, delivered by email.

The end

The game runs for 14 days. Then the board freezes forever, billboards included.
